INTERNATIONAL TAX REFORM TO PAY FOR COVID-19
On September 12, 2020, Mr. Mehta participated in an interview hosted by Network 20/20, a think tank based in New York and an important forum for international dialogue. There were over 150 participants from ten countries who had signed on to the Zoom call to engage in a discussion on the Need for Tax Justice.
NEW BOOK PUBLICATION: TAX JUSTICE AND GLOBAL INEQUALITY
The new book “Tax Injustice and Global Inequality”, edited by Krishen Mehta, Esther Shubert, and Erika Dayle Siu, explores how developing countries can combat tax evasion and other unfair practices, and shows how such action is vital if we are to meet the Sustainable Development Goals.
Speech in Vienna, 2015
In 2015, Mr. Mehta gave a talk at the Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation. In 2014, Mr. Mehta delivered a speech on Montreal at McGill University. Mr. Mehta discussed ways in which developing countries can attract investments while achieving tax justice.
